The trust promotes eLiteracy and skill development initiatives related to Information Communication Technology – ICT for the people from underprivileged sections of society. eJunction was born in 2007 out of an earnest desire to make a difference in real and measurable ways to the underprivileged and financially challenged sections of society. eJunction imparts digital education with the primary objective of empowering these sections of society and making them employable. eJunction also provides digital literacy at the grass roots level to achieve outstanding results in the future. The main goal is to provide quality education through digital means and formulate a process where the child is learning the subject as well as getting exposed to technology.
eJunction focus areas for developmental activities are in urban as well as rural areas in the states in which it is located. Right now eJunction is working in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha. eJunction partners with credible organizations – individually or as a consortium – to design, fund, implement and review projects. Partner agencies are selected based on well-defined selection criteria. The eJunction initiative runs through a defined Hub & Spoke model. The Hub is the eJunction main centre located at the mjunction headquarter in Kolkata. The spokes are learning centres run by partner organizations including NGOs and clubs. There are 34 learning centres all around Kolkata, Districts of West Bengal, Jamshedpur and Ranchi.

mjunction wanted to take this endeavour a step ahead. The objective of ejunction was revised since FY'13 and now it not only aims at providing free education but also creates employability for these trainees.
In 2012, eJunction came like a blessing in my life and gave me practical experience in writing and replying to emails, communication decorum, presentation skills and the correct body language. It gave me a new lease of life and helped me to get a job in the marketing and communication department of the Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. I was already 43 years old and had dabbled in a lot of things by then. But eJunction turned the direction of my life.
Computer training from eJunction has made me self reliant . While doing my class XII I got into a 3 months eJunction program and then eJunction management helped me to acquire some training on retail skill as well. I started working with a market survey company, then with IFB sales. Now I am working as a civic volunteer under Kolkata Police. Thanks a lot eJunction for showing me a path .
I had learn the best knowledge about BPO at eJunction I was doing nothing after my graduation. Training at eJunction has made me employable.
